Just place them in an ice cold drink or in the fridge and watch the straws change colour. Remove and wait a while to warm up again, or touch them and the colour changes back. Another fun way to use them is to pop them in the fridge to chill them and then see them change colour in a warm (not hot) drink.  Manufactured from 100% Food grade polypropylene, the colour of the straws are affected by temperature (Thermochromic).  We can produce polypropylene that can also change colour in the sun's UV light (Photochromic) or even glow in the dark (Phosphorescent).
